Liberty Badminton Club has been running for just over 2 years, having been reinvented from an existing badminton club of thirty years.  The club is run by a Committee, and has recently moved to a new Sports Centre in PentrehafodSchool in Swansea.

We recently started a junior club, attracting both boys and girls from the local area, as well as children from existing and new club members. This has proved very successful, and we have recently started playing friendly matches against other junior clubs.

Information

Club night is on a Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm, where four courts are dedicated to training and improving our junior and senior players. We currently have in excess of 20 players attending on a Thursday evening, the youngest being 8 years old and the oldest being 61 years of age. We are a family club, with many of the senior players bringing their children to play, while playing regularly themselves.

The club has 3 teams currently playing in the Swansea & West Glamorgan Badminton Association League. The A team play in Division 1, the B team play in Division 2, and the mixed team play in Mixed Division 1.
