Carmarthenshire Badminton Club is going from strength to strength thanks to a series of cash windfalls.
Leisure chiefs have hailed the organisation as an example for others in need of funding to follow.
The club received its first grant of £669 in December 2004, with the money helping to fund coach education and new equipment.
It received another £153 in October 2005 and a further £250 towards coach education last August.
